My name is Sheila and I live on a tiny island on the southwest coast of Florida. I've been sewing most of my life and began making quilts in 1988. I grew up in northern Ohio and have lived in Toledo, Port Clinton, Fremont and Pickerington, Ohio. I've been married since 1978 and have two sons, Nick and Ben. My husband and I have always said once our youngest son graduated high school that we were moving to Florida. Ben graduated in 2005 and we made the big move in August. When we sold our Ohio home our realtor took one look at my sewing room and said "this entire room needs to packed up before I can even begin showing the house". Under great protest and sadness I packed my sewing room. Once we arrived in Florida my dear husband got to work turning our 2 car garage into my new sewing room. Unpacking my sewing room was like greeting old friends. I hope to hear from you all soon.
